‘Rotunda’ garden by Citylaboratory
Spanish architects Citylaboratory, Aurora Armental Ruiz and Stefano Ciurlo Walker, have made a basin-shaped garden named ‘Rotunda’ for the 2014 edition of the International Garden Festival (IGF).

“A basin-shaped rotunda accumulates daily pollen and leaves that serve as meals for birds and insects, which leads to the improvement of a new life in the garden.” says Citylaboratory.

For 2014, the IGF competitors attracted 293 proposals for modern gardens submitted by more than 700 architects, landscape architects, designers and artists from 35 nations. ‘Rotunda’ is a single of 6 new projects chosen to be featured at the 2014 edition presented at the Reford Gardens from June 28 to September 28, 2014 at Grand-Métis, Quebec.
