For these days’s post, we are fortunate to travel all the way to Finland to see about the most lovely house, full of romantic, shabby chic small things and lots of pink! The blog ‘Maalaisunelmaa’ belongs to Johanna and she shares the most lovely images from her house over there. (Linked beneath)
Do you see what I imply?! You all know by now that I am obsessed with Greengate! So of course I would be including the contents of Johannas fabulous dining dresser filled with Greengate latte cups, tea cups, mugs and most of the stoneware truly! I’m very jealous of this collection. I also truly like this huge dresser unit with the cupboards beneath.
This is a wonderful view of all the greengate goodies that Johanna owns. I like all the red and white (these are my christmas colours) and I do truly own a handful of of these pieces myself also. I’m slightly in awe of the amount of greengate latte cups in this image, they’re not specifically low cost are they! What a lucky lady ^_^
Not only is Johanna’s greengate collection rather impressive, but she has the most fantastic outside shed/greenhouse that is completely flooded with natural light and it has the most gorgeous aqua coloured door! I would live in that small shed if I could.
These are beautiful! Are they muscari? In a little bundt pan? That is a extremely good idea! Do bulbs not need any drainage then if they can sit in water? I must create a little reminder to go and analysis that! I’m getting very excited about spring at the moment so you are in for some much more posts filled with flowers and questions.
I definitely adore hydrangeas, I consider they may be some of my favourite flowers although my favourites list tends to go on rotation! I also love a Tilda tin so I was pleased as punch to see the hydrangeas becoming displayed in such a beautiful tin. Those doughnuts appear rather delicious also. I keep in mind eating the jam filled ones when I was younger and just getting covered in sugar and jam. A big sticky, delicious mess. Ok, now I’m hungry!
Johanna’s small girl is also very, quite lucky and most undoubtedly a princess! Not only does she obtain a princess themed birthday celebration but she also has a princess themed bedroom
The light around the mirror is absolutely beautiful and I am really in adore with the pink, gingham wallpaper!
The bed is ideal for a tiny princess and of course, a canopy is necessary!
There is also some rather fabulous pink storage in that area that is just perfection for a tiny girl!
This outside setting created me extremely happy indeed. It just reminded me of spring and summer, I don’t know why though since we never ever get climate like this in the UK, ever! Perhaps a couple of days final summer season had been great but it absolutely didn’t last very lengthy. The canopy above this outside dining set is just fabulous. And appear at that hat!
Remember when I mentioned my favourite flowers had been on rotation? Yeah.. with peonies and ranunculus (and lilacs)! I believe I want to develop a giant rose garden with a small section off to the side for hydrangeas and lilacs. Lots and lots of them! These strawberries look delicious, I don’t consume cheesecake but the strawberries and beautiful fluffy peonies got me with that image.
To finish with, I had to share this image with you. I was rather impressed with the wicker framed chalk board as I have in no way seen one of them before! I also actually liked the orchid ^_^ and the ’51′ spray painted onto the wicker basket. I might select a number and begin painting it on every little thing. I’ve noticed so numerous excellent number themed products recently for interiors (is that a trend I have missed) either way, I like it!
